Hello Windy Hill Families! Although the school building will be quiet this week, our Windy Hill community will be busy learning and connecting virtually. Our staff is working hard to plan engaging instruction. Please consider nominating one of our fabulous educators for Excellence in Online Teaching!
Calvert County Public Schools is proud of the efforts and professionalism of our educators during this school year full of twists and pivots. We would like to hear from you to highlight their good work! Nominate a teacher or instructional assistant who has gone the extra mile to make virtual learning engaging for your child. Nominations will be accepted through January 20.
What will nominees get? Some will be recognized on social media. Some at Board of Education meetings. And some will be the lucky winners of $50 Amazon gift cards! One gift card winner will be selected randomly on November 4, 11, 18; December 2, 9, 16; and January 6, 13, 20, with the recipients announced the Friday after each drawing. Winners will be removed from the drawing; other nominees will remain eligible. All nominees will get a small token of appreciation.
