Reminder from From Mrs. Frederick, School Counselor: Windy Hill Elementary is sponsoring a virtual Giving Tree. We are reaching out to our school community to provide a happy holiday to our students in need. Please click on the “Sign-Up-Genius” link below to see the items listed and help us give a smile and joy this season. There is a number and letter assigned to each item. Please tape this identification to the gift. To deliver the gift, please call Sara Frederick, School Counselor, at 443.550.9871 to make an appointment. If your child is attending school, he/she can bring it to the front office. All gifts are to be unwrappedand delivered by December 10, 2020. You may also mail in monetary donations making checks payable to WHES (address: 9550 Boyds Turn Road, Owings, MD 20736). PTA Corner: WHES PTA Corner
The first week of December is already behind us! The bonus smatterings of warm weather that we've had over the past month or so have made it hard to believe that winter and the holiday season is upon us!
In keeping with the unusual nature of this 2020 year, the PTA would like to offer a casual 'Ugly Sweater Style' holiday Zoom gathering. Just a chance to drop online, see the faces of the families of your child's classmates, and try to spread a little holiday cheer! Wear your best Holiday sweater if you have one, or feel free to sport your new Wizard Spirit wear! Wearyourspiritwearhouse will be closing Windy Hill Elementary sales in January so all orders must be made by the end of December. Also, if you ordered your spirit wear already and did not receive the correct order, please let us know. Email us at info@whespta.com. We will work with them to try and resolve any issues on your behalf.
